OF THE INVISIBLE
Parallel & Binary Buses investigates the invisible structures that sustain the image. Inspired by computer architecture, the series draws from parallel and binary buses, systems responsible for the circulation and organization of information, to develop its own visual language.
Each work begins with a digital architecture that precedes the image itself. Graphic structures, coding systems, modular patterns and information flows form the foundation upon which portraits, symbols and narratives are constructed. The image ceases to be the starting point and becomes the materialization of a process.
Visual elements can be rearranged, fragmented and recombined, establishing a dialogue between computational thinking and artistic construction. Just as digital systems process information through interconnected modules, each composition reveals a structural logic that remains present even as its visual appearance changes.
Rather than representing the digital universe, Parallel & Binary Buses seeks to reveal its internal architecture, making visible structures that usually remain hidden. The series forms one of the foundations of the artistic research developed by Studio A.U.M.A, in which information, code and image become part of the same system of visual construction.

A ARQUITETURA DO INVISÍVEL
Parallel & Binary Buses investiga as estruturas invisíveis que sustentam a imagem. Inspirada na arquitetura dos computadores, a série parte dos barramentos paralelos e binários, sistemas responsáveis pela circulação e organização da informação, para desenvolver uma linguagem visual própria.
Cada obra nasce de uma arquitetura digital anterior à imagem. Estruturas gráficas, sistemas de codificação, padrões modulares e fluxos de informação constituem a base sobre a qual retratos, símbolos e narrativas são construídos. A imagem deixa de ser um ponto de partida para tornar-se a materialização de um processo.
Os elementos visuais podem ser reorganizados, fragmentados e recombinados, estabelecendo relações entre o pensamento computacional e a construção artística. Assim como os sistemas digitais processam informações por meio de módulos interconectados, cada composição revela uma lógica estrutural que permanece presente mesmo quando sua aparência se transforma.
Mais do que representar o universo digital, Parallel & Binary Buses busca revelar sua arquitetura interna, tornando visíveis estruturas que normalmente permanecem ocultas. A série constitui um dos fundamentos da pesquisa desenvolvida pelo Studio A.U.M.A, na qual informação, código e imagem integram um mesmo sistema de construção visual.
