The research developed by Studio A.U.M.A emerges from the artistic trajectory of Alexandre Pontara, shaped through the exploration of multiple creative disciplines. Its origins lie in a lifelong interest in cinema, literature, and writing, experiences that fostered a lasting engagement with image, narrative, and symbolic construction.

 

This interest later found expression in theatre, dramaturgy, and performance, opening a field of inquiry into presence, space, and the relationship between word, body, and image. The encounter with audiovisual media naturally expanded this path, leading to the visual arts, design, and digital technologies, understood not as an end in themselves, but as new possibilities for artistic creation and experimentation.
