A Pop People Collection nasce de uma investigação sobre a linguagem digital e sua capacidade de construir novas possibilidades para a imagem. Antes que qualquer efígie se revele, existe uma arquitetura visual formada por código binário, barramentos, fragmentos e campos cromáticos. Esse sistema constitui o ponto de partida da pesquisa, estabelecendo um espaço de experimentação onde a linguagem antecede a própria imagem.
É desse campo visual que as efígies começam a emergir. Elas não são escolhidas de maneira aleatória nem reproduzidas como simples retratos. Cada figura surge como resultado de um processo de reorganização da linguagem, revelando imagens profundamente inscritas na memória coletiva e conduzindo cada obra a uma investigação singular.
Ao incorporar frases, fórmulas e reflexões convertidas em código binário, a coleção aproxima pensamento e imagem em uma mesma estrutura construtiva. The Pop People Collection emerges from an investigation into digital language and its ability to construct new possibilities for the image. Before any effigy is revealed, there is a visual architecture composed of binary code, graphic bars, fragments, and chromatic fields. This system forms the foundation of the research, establishing a space of experimentation in which language precedes the image itself.
It is from this visual field that the effigies begin to emerge. They are neither selected at random nor reproduced as simple portraits. Each figure arises from a process of linguistic reorganization, revealing images deeply embedded in the collective memory while leading each work toward its own unique investigation.
By incorporating phrases, formulas, and reflections translated into binary code, the collection brings thought and image together within the same constructive structure. Binary code ceases to function merely as a system of encoding and becomes visual matter, integrating itself into the architecture of each composition and actively participating in the formation of the effigies.
